USAMEDPRO  was founded in 2019 after one of our owners was discharged from a  hospital after a bone marrow transplant, given as part of his mission to  stay alive with Multiple Myeloma an incurable blood cell cancer.

On  his discharge he was given a box of face masks and told to wear them as  he no longer had an immune system and it was essential he did not catch  any sort of infection, Virus , droplets containing fluids, or anything  communicable.

When he picked up the box, the  most noted thing was "Made in China" and not intended to protect from  any disease, virus or transmission of same.

With  that said he cut open the face masks and found the material inside was  not even melt blown and basically it was mostly like toilet paper ..  This led to the research on face masks actually a year before we were  struck with Covid 19 and the situation where everyone needed masks.

His  research found that to properly prevent any transmission of droplets ,  you need to be at around a 90% plus BFE meaning Bacterial Filtration  efficiency.

Face masks (3 part) are made of 3  layers , am outer and inner layer of spun bond material and a central  layer of Melt blown which acts as sort of a honeycomb and forced  droplets to go sideways versus through the fabrics...

Further testing through a laboratory showed that of the 20 different masks sent,  there were only 2-3 that tested about 50% BFE.

This  discovery led to the search for fabrics that were really protecting  people and understanding that there were/are few American factories  producing Melt Blown fabric to make face masks, N-95 and KN 95 masks  other than 3M and a couple of others in the US.

Even  companies currently assembling masks in the US are still using imported  fabric and the challenge with this is the constant verification of the  suppliers capability to provide a fabric that tests at or above 90% .

Now  there are some manufacturers of fabric in China that make a quality  product, not all try and cheat on the amount of fibers they add to the  machines.. 

The mission of USAMEDPRO is to  produce here in the United States a line of All American made products  made with material produced in The United States. 

While  we have never focused on rushing this process during the huge demand  for face masks , we understand that all medical institutions will always  use face coverings , N-95 and KN-95 respirators even if we are not in a  pandemic and they should really work. Our facility allows customers to  visit, see the machines, see the test results of the American made  fabrics as well as see the testing machines in our lab that insures you  will have masks that really work.

Our investors  and partners have the fore sight to see that there is a huge need for a  facility here in the US and as we ramp production to between 50 and 100  million pieces per year , they know we are really making and selling a  product that works...

Buy American is a push  and in some instances will be a requirement for many governmental  agencies and products going forward and USAMEDPRO intends to be in the  forefront of the American made PPE product business...
